 | 22nd November 2007 | Thanksgiving by the Pool
We started with a breakfast of country ham, bacon and eggs and then went to pickup the smoked turkey and sides from BBQ Beach. After working on our tans, we finally ate ... as much as we could!

 | 4th November 2007 | Marky's Birthday
We had a surprise birthday party but the birthday boy was late. By the time he arrived, it's safe to say he had already consumed a bottle of chardonnay.

 | 20th July 2006 | This is why they call me Uncle Sam
On the 20th of July, Olivia Jean Bradford entered the world. This 7 lb. 6 oz., 20 1/4" blue-eyed beauty is the latest member of my family. Olivia is the first child (and I think there are more coming) from my brother, Roberts, and his wife, Sarah.
And, you know, most newborns are really ugly. It takes a few months to fill out into your body. But this kid, well, she's just damned cute.
This is my 3rd neice and all I can say is... knowing my family, I hope you're not camera shy. Sweet, little thing. Welcome to the world. You are blessed by being born into quite possibly the most wonderful family on the planet. And we are blessed by welcoming you to it.

These are photos of various Cardinals Spring Training games in late March. They're crops of the originals and didn't turn out too badly considering I was maxed out on the zoom.

 | 25th October 2005 to 27th October 2005 | Post-Hurricane Fun
Power outages, curfews and lots of free time...
|
 | 24th October 2005 to 25th October 2005 | Hurricane Wilma
Hurricane Wilma tore through Miami Beach early Monday morning. Although we were hit fairly hard, the damage wasn't nearly as substantial as other parts of SoFla. Perhaps the most surprising part of the storm (and its aftermath) was a lack of water in the streets. I ventured out shortly before 1PM to capture some pics of the devastation. The cleanup was already underway on Ocean Drive as local businesses got cleaned up and a few even opened, selling cold drinks, coffee, crab legs, sandwiches, etc. Tuesday the 25th was a perfect day and SoBe was operating normally as power came on along Ocean Drive and the Art Deco District.
